Are we allowing President Obama to torture in our name?

This article from the Telegraph is very troubling for "We the people" of the United States. If torture is NOT legal and the USA does it, we are all guilty.
"Barack Obama to allow anti-terror rendition to continue"
Or this link http://news.yahoo.com/s/ucru/20090630/cm_ucru/sorrymrbush that RG (aka 'Jeeves' or 'itsrobbyg') brought to my attention prior to me finding the Telegraph link.

As of now, 7/2/2009 21:48 MT, I have not received a response. I urge everyone to write their elected officials and insist we will not accept further violations of the Geneva accords.

This is the letter I wrote just now to the President of the United States (under the subject of 'Other'):
"Dear Mr. President,
Please respond to the above email address on how allowing ANY torture is not a violation of international law? Do you have a link where I can review the executive order mentioned below?
I am shocked to see this article from Yahoo! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ucru/20090630/cm_ucru/sorrymrbush
In that article I read 'Obama's CIA director told Congress that there's a
"review process that's built into [Obama's] executive order" that allows torture to continue'.
If that is the case, we are still in violation of international law.
I still strongly support our country. You are doing an awesome job in most areas. That does not allow for us to repeat inhuman torture."
